Ezra Lipschitz

Ezra Lipschitz was born in 1955, then mostly raised as a Catholic with a Jewish last name in Colma, California—a necropolis for the city of San Francisco. He completed a degree in English at UC Davis—though, he does not recall getting his diploma—and now lives in a cabin at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Southwestern Colorado near the border with New Mexico. To earn what little money he requires, he travels around the Southwest playing folk songs in bars and coffee shops where he hopes to make enough money to buy a decent glass of scotch and some gas to get back home.
